What I love about our program: I like that Reading encourages a good work-life balance and I have time for things I enjoy outside of medicine.

What I love about our program: I came to Reading because it truly felt like home the moment I stepped into the hospital. The faculty and staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their craft and capacity to work 1 on 1 with attendings assured me I wouldn't miss any opportunities to learn and grow.
Fun fact: I can melt faces with my guitar shredding abilities.

What I love about our program: Why I chose reading? Great experience at the interview... everyone was so excited about the new program it was contagious.
Fun fact: Before med school I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail.
Dr. David Delnegro
What I love about our program: I chose Reading because of the camaraderie between attending and residents and the culture is healthy. There are opportunities to do lots of procedures and resuscitations.
Fun fact: I love cats!

What I love about our program: I wanted to do my residency somewhere that cared not only about my professional growth, but also my personal growth and wellbeing just as much. And I found exactly that at Reading.
Fun Fact: I had 3 chest tubes placed just 10 days before starting residency and still managed to start on time with all my co-residents.
Dr. Elizabeth Mannarelli
What I love about our program: We have unlimited access to procedures because you are unopposed by other residents and we have small residency classes, dedicated Pediatric ED and fellowship-trained Peds ED docs who are committed to teaching, fellowship-trained US director and one-on-one training on ultrasound, and state-of-the-art Trauma Bay.
Fun fact: I am a twin!

What I love about our program: I find great value in our program's unique exposure to multiple ED settings. As a thriving hospital system, EM residents at Reading are fortunate in our ability to work in a large academic center, community hospital, and dedicated pediatric emergency departments all within a single program!
Fun fact: I owned and managed a custom home design and building firm along the beautiful coast of South Carolina for 17 years prior to becoming an emergency medicine physician.
